On the topic of cool stuff.

I saw "Citizen Kane" for the first time today in my film class. It. Was. Amazing.

Orson Welles, in the words of Seth, definitely reached his peak way too early. And, consequently, ended up eating his fat ass to death in the process.

It's a great movie.

In other news, got some great concerts on the horizon. Death Cab for Cutie will be performing along with Ra Ra Riot! and Cold War Kids on April 8 at DAR Constitution Hall. Tickets are going on sale Saturday morning for the general public.

Also, Dave Matthews Band is kickstarting their Summer '09 tour along with a new album due in April. Jeff Coffin will be performing the horn parts due to the death of saxophonist LeRoi Moore this past August. Tim Reynolds will be playing alongside DMB as well.

The new album for the week this week is:

"Feel. Love. Thinking. Of." - Faunts.

This band sounds a lot like Postal Service or MGMT, but they have a quality that is hard to come around these days and that is: sprucing it up. Yes, they have indeed spruced up the Electronic/Alternative genre with fresh new beats, harmonies, and lyrics that haven't been asclever since The Postal Service's 2004 release, "Give Up."
